TutorLex is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and secure learning environment for all users. The safety and wellbeing of learners—particularly children and vulnerable individuals—is a top priority.

2. Tutor Safeguarding Requirements

All Tutors on TutorLex must:

  • Pass required identity and background checks
  • Meet safeguarding standards applicable in the UK
  • Act professionally and in the best interests of Students at all times

TutorLex reserves the right to suspend or remove Tutors who fail to meet safeguarding requirements.

3. Platform Safety Measures

To protect users:

  • All lessons must take place exclusively on the TutorLex platform
  • Off-platform communication or lessons are strictly prohibited
  • Lessons may be securely recorded for safeguarding and quality assurance
  • Platform activity may be monitored where necessary

4. Reporting Safeguarding Concerns

Any safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately.

TutorLex will:

  • Treat all reports seriously and confidentially
  • Investigate concerns promptly
  • Take appropriate action, including suspending accounts

Serious concerns may be escalated to relevant safeguarding bodies or authorities where required by law.
